AK provides claims consulting and legal counsel to the public adjusting community.  AK's attorneys serve as valuable members of the public adjuster's team, helping to maximize recovery, navigate legal issues, and advocate for the common interest.

When an insurance company demands an examination under oath, legal representation is essential.  AK works with insureds to take all steps required by the insured to cooperate as required by the policy provisions, document production, and assesses coverage issues.  Our attorneys prepare each insured, accompany them to their examination, advocate on their behalf, and work with the public adjuster to secure coverage. 

As with any business, issues arise and sometimes personalities conflict. Our office has experience navigating through the DFS complaint process and can assist in preparing responses.   We can assist with counseling on DFS and industry regulations and proceedings

We can assist and represent public adjusters with any legal matter which arises in connection with their work as public adjusters, whether dealing with other vendors, fee disputes, and errors and omissions claims.
